What do you think of this stocking suggestion for my future 250 gallon tank?
1 oscar
1 Pleco
1 Fire eel6
6 bala sharks
1 Black ghost knife fish
I already have the BGK and the pleco so i cant get rid of them.
I know its a long shot but i think i can make it work if i raise them together. If the oscar i buy or any other fish i buy is aggresive i will exchange it till i get a mellow one.
If you can source the bala's at a size too large for the BGK or Oscar to eat you should have no problem with that mix, while Oscars are Coachloads and can be aggressive I'd class them as middle of the road when in with fish of similar size of differing genre. Off all those fish the one that worries me would be the fire eel obviously he will need a hide however, they're fairly slow growing in comparison with the rest.
