Can you make a remote shutter trigger for a manual camera?
I have a Pentax K1000, a beautiful camera.. and I really wanted to experiment further with it .Since there's no self-timer on it, and I wanted to try some slow shutter shots, I wanted to know if there's a way I can get a remote trigger for it? Any help in that direction will be appreciated.
Look closely at your shutter button.
Is it counter-bored with a thread?
That is where you screw your remote release into.
The inner chord itself is a length of stiff but flexible wire, and when pressed, presses the shutter button. The shutter can also be locked open by turning a small knurled screw on the side of the exterior chord, so preventing the interior wire from releasing the shutter.
Any good camera shop should have one.
