are weed eaters/wackers waterproof? how to get ants out?
i have this weed wacker that was left in the woods for about 2 months because i was hiding it from my cousin so he couldn't use it to "harvest" his weed. so now that he's moved out, i can use it again! =D...wrong. after cutting down the vines around it and taking a few steps, i was attacked by bull ants that i swear are mutated. they feel like you were shot with a pellet gun and the pellet was held under a torch. so i tied a rope around it and dragged it back to my house and put the part that cuts the grass under water only to find out that for one thing, the majority of the ants are in the engine and for another thing, they can breathe underwater. i haven't put the engine part under water yet, because i don't know if it will ruin it or not. i was planning on boiling water and piring it over the engine but i need to know if it's waterproof. if not, how can i eliminate the adault-aged mutant viking ants? (sorry i know that was a bad joke hehe -.-)
Okay you got attacked by bull ants. They wouldn't have made a nest in a weed eater. No they cannot breathe under water but they can hold in air for a very very long while. Like 30 minutes before they offically die. I say leave the weed eater alone for a while the ants will leave since you took them away from their nest. And second you can posion ants with RAID
