What is best way to clean very dirty carpet.?
The carpet is cream and is very dirty...it gets heavy traffic, some stains are very dark from outside dirt and grim? What are some produts that will help protect the carpet once it is cleaned?
I always use about six table spoons of bleach with each gallon of water in my shampooer i have blue and brown carpet never fades it i use Clorox with a scent any will do puts a fresh smell in the house i mix the bleach with the carpet shampoo if you are scared to do that go to wal-mart or any place that sells carpet cleaner in a can spray the carpet let set 20min. then use your shampooer. i have told my friends about bleach they all use it their carpet if fine .
