What is the best tactical video cam i can buy for deployment?
I'm looking for a tactical video camera that can be mounted on my helmet. I'd like this cam to be able to have atleast 5+ hours battery life and 5+ hours of memory as well. I basically am looking to be able to record and entire time while on patrol. I'd like it to $1000 or less. Any advice or exact models would be appreciated
BEFORE you shell out $1000 on equipment (and Sony makes nice stuff), be sure and get permission -- IN WRITING -- to allow you to (a) transport a cam overseas; and (b) to attach one to your helmet and wear it. There will be HUGE OPSEC issues with your wanting to do this, plus legal and privacy issues, and, frankly, I think they will say NO.
