Vintage Brownie

How to view 8mm Video Camera film?
I recently came across a vintage video camera (found it at Goodwill, and my addiction for old cameras made me buy it.) It is an 8mm Brownie Video Camera. I also discovered that there was film left inside it by the previous owner. Now, I have no idea what I can do to be able to view the film, as I was not alive when this kind of film was used.
Does anyone know how I could view the film? Or is it even possible without bringing it to some kind of specialist?
if you opened it up to see if there was film in it, then it is ruined. the film can only be changed in total darkness. save the spools, you will need them if you want to try and shoot with this camera.
of course this is not video, what you have is a motion picture camera. check around, there may be a film club or hobby group that can help you with this.
