What do you think is the lowest I should offer for the BMW 3-series?

I'm not sure if this would make a difference or not but I'm selling my current car and I will be paying cash for the new one. So considering that, what's the cheapest you think I can get it? My current car should sell for around $16k-$18k. Do you think they'll accept an offer like that? Thank you.
I bought a used 2001 BMW 325i Black with 125,000 miles on it for $4,500. So i guess you can do the math comparison from your BMW to mine like the year, model, and mileage. The car is easily worth 23,000 id bargin with him really lead him on like the economy is really hurting you and stuff thats how i got mine down 2k from the asking price. offer 16k first and slowly work up. If he is getting little offers he will make a deal with him. Just dont full blown out offer all the cash you can spend try to work him down and see how much you can save. the more you save, the more you make when you sell it.
