Do you have a survival bag?
Packed and ready to go at all times, just in case you have to get disappeared in a hurry?
My bag contains a spare change of clothes, a survival knife, 50 meters of 550 parachute cord, camo paint, shaving mirror, binoculars(taped so to hide glare of sunlight), a non-glare waterproof digital watch, non-glare sunglasses, waterproof matches and a lighter, a spool of fishing wire, a pen and weatherproof notepad, 2 hefty trash bags, 2 canteens and one canteen cup (both canteens full of filtered water, and the canteens and canteen cup are made of metal), and a first aid kit!
Yes, I know what you're thinking, I am a packing genius (aside from the knives I keep the weapons on my person at all possible times)
I also forgot to say my swiss army knife I keep on my person, and a magnifying glass.

Yep, I've got a small survival kit in my backpack that is with me at all times. It is also important to learn how to be self sufficient like learning about native plants to know what is edible and what is not. There are probably some additional items you might like to include like a flashlight, radio -solar powered if possible or a solar charger for the batteries. A water filter is also a great idea for when your supply of water is gone.
