How "wide" is the 0.45x wide angle converter lens?
I'm thinking of purchasing 58mm 0.45x wide angle converter lens. How wide is that? I mean, what does 0.45x mean? And will it be better than 55mm ones?
a 0.45x wide converter means that the converter will convert your existing lens into a wider one by 0.45x factor.
For instance, if you have a 100mm lens, with the converter it will be a 45mm lens.
I think what it means by 58mm is the size of the barrel itself, and not the focal length.
