Get network bridge in vista to work between a wireless connection and a local connection wired to xbox 360?
I'm trying to share my wireless connection with my xbox 360 using a network bridge. Ive gotten it to work fine on xp computer. But when i did it in vista it wont connect. I noticed the local area connection my 360 connects to was able to media share and i was able to see the status and details of the connection, which includes its IP adress. But after the network bridge when i view the status and details nothing shows up, also i cannot media share anymore. Also the "test xbox live connection" in the console dashboard fails on the IP Address. I can still browse the internet, and when i view network map it shows that my 360 is connected to a switch which connects to a switch whom my computer is connected, and then gateway and internet. So why does my xbox not connect? And don't say use a router because im in another room, thats why my comp is wireless.
try internet connection sharing (ICS). right click on the local area connection on the manage network connections. choose the sharing tab and enable internet connection sharing. make sure that the ip's are not static ip's.
